The role of chief secretary is being scrapped, and replaced with a chief executive officer.
The change comes following a review into the most senior role in the Island's civil service.

The review was announced after former Chief Secretary Will Greenhow retired in May.
It's hoped the process to recruit the CEO will begin next month, once Tynwald has been asked to approve changes to regulations.
