Port Erin man committed to court of general gaol
A Port Erin man accused of possessing more than 3,500 indecent photographs of children has been committed to a court of general gaol.
Ian Mcloughlin, who is 56, is charged with 10 offences of possessing, making or publishing the images.
They’re alleged to have been made and published between 2007 and October last year.
Mr McLoughlin appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday morning.
The case has been adjourned to a date to be fixed.
