Warning over risks of playing around cliffs
Coastguards were called to the aid of a child in Onchan yesterday.
Douglas Coastguards were alerted just before 4.30pm when the youth injured themselves climbing at the Sea Lion Pens in Groudle.
They suffered only minor injuries and officers helped bring the child to waiting paramedics.
Coastguards are asking youngsters to consider the dangers of playing around the Island’s coast over the summer holidays.
