Safety equipment crucial factor in crash
A serious crash in north of the Island last night has prompted a reminder about child car seats.
Police say it's fortunate no one was injured when two cars, one carrying a young family, hit each other head on in Andreas.
A split-second driver distraction is being blamed for the collision, which left the vehicle on its side.
Officers at the scene said a properly-fitted child's seat made 'all the difference' in what could have been a far worse accident.
