Fictional characters spotted across the Island
Many schools, pupils and staff have been celebrating World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite literary characters.
The one-day festival, launched by UNESCO, celebrates authors, illustrators, books and the pleasure of reading.
Taking place in more than 100 countries around the world - it aims to inspire and encourage young people to pick up a book and read.
