Isle of Play returns after funding secured
Lock away your phones, playing out is back with the help of new funding.
Isle of Play is a new charity knocking on the doors of kids around the island, to get them away from their keyboard and out playing.
Their 'Playing Out' scheme was launched during the TT school holidays.
It immediately became popular with 574 children and 340 families signed up for it.
It encourages kids to swap technology for dens, rope swings and old school fun.
Manx Gas is sponsoring the charity and say their core values of Isle of Play go hand in hand with their own - with a focus on the community, environment and a healthy body and mind.
