Commissioners asking people to report incidents to police
Castletown Commissioners says children have been entering building sites and derelict properties over the weekend.
The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team has responded to incidents involving children going to these 'extremely dangerous' places which have 'unstable' structures and 'hidden' hazards.
The local authority says sites are secured but access is often gained through vandalism which puts people at risk.
It's urging residents to report any incidents over the festive period to the police or to the town hall.
