New Covid mitigation measures in place
Children across the Isle of Man returned to school today (8 September) for the start of the new academic year.
Government has pledged to maintain 'proportionate protective measures' in a bid to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Ventilation has been increased and carbon dioxide monitors installed – secondary school pupils, and staff, are also being urged to wear face coverings and use lateral flow kits.
Staff at all schools - and secondary school pupils - are being 'encouraged' to wear face coverings.
