Douglas Councillor discusses role party politics plays in local government
A Douglas Councillor says it's important voters have a variety of political parties to choose from.
Devon Watson, who's also vice president of the Manx Labour Party, has been discussing the role party politics plays in local government on the Isle of Man.
He's one of three MLP members elected to Douglas City Council, while the Isle of Man Green Party has two Councillors.
While the two parties do work together on some issues, Mr Watson says they also have differing aims:
