The leader of Douglas Borough Council says it's about to get tough with those who infringe its bylaws.
David Christian says the time for education and warnings is over when it comes to the likes of littering, dog fouling and antisocial behaviour.
Fewer than twenty fixed penalty notices were issued by the council's wardens last year, despite them dealing with well over 800 cases.
Mr Christian says certain problem areas have been chosen:

At the height of the incident nine fire appliances on scene
Thompson 'confident' in MGP/Classic TT adaptability
Clerk of the Course says there's 'wriggle room' in the event of disruption
Island on 'right track' to retaining biosphere status
However, chair of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man stresses no decision is made yet
