Christmas officially comes to Port Erin this evening (Saturday).
The Christmas Tree Festival, organised by the village traders association, starts at three thirty.
There’ll be plenty of events going on around the village, including a range of entertainment, a Christmas market at the Falcon’s Nest; children’s activities at St Catherine’s Hall; story telling on a vintage bus situated on Church Road, carol singing at the train station at four thirty and a nativity trail.
Father Christmas will be in his grotto in the Methodist hall and there’ll be food and mulled wine available.
Port Erin’s Magical Christmas will conclude with a concert at the Erin Arts Centre at seven thirty.
