Frosty weather forces organisers to cancel entertainment
The festive entertainment in Ramsey, scheduled to take place later this afternoon, has been called off due to predicted bad weather.
Many of the planned attractions based around the town's refurbished Courthouse were cancelled by organisers following this morning's cold snap.
The Met office says there's continuing risk of a wintry showers today chiefly in central and northern areas.
Those taking part in the bauble competition can still do so at the Town Hall with the lights-switch on at 5pm accompanied by music from Ramsey Town Band.
