Follows request by the Church of England
Church bells will ring out across the Isle of Man today to mark the death of The Duke of Edinburgh.
Tenor bells at St Georges in Douglas and at Peel Cathedral will ring at midday.
They will be tolled, half-muffled, 99 times by two members of the local ringing bands.
The Prince Philip, who was 99, died peacefully at Windsor Castle yesterday.
