
A group of church ladies came to the rescue after a couple's plans to decorate a church with unique blue roses for their wedding day were almost ruined by thieves.
The 'avalanche' dyed blooms specially ordered for the ceremony were stolen from Kirk Braddan church where Gemma Riley and Sam Botham were tying the knot this afternoon..
Police and the local vicar appealed for the thief to give them back, but the parish flower team tackled the thorny problem and dipped into their own pockets to replace them.
