Creditors' meeting today
Citywing owes the Manx government more than £42,000.
That figure is part of the £1.8 million it owes in total.
A creditors meeting today (Friday) heard the Island based ticket seller – which went into liquidation a fortnight ago – has more than £750,000 in its accounts.
Yet, managing director David Buck said even once the company’s assets are sold, there will still be a shortfall in the region of £440,000.
The meeting in Douglas finished a short time ago.
Craig Mitchell of Browne Craine has been appointed liquidator.
