Hardship warning from commissioners' chairman
The chairman of Onchan Commissioners says any further social rent increase for its tenants could have a disastrous impact.
Board members have asked Infrastructure chiefs to freeze social housing rents next year.
The DOI is currently consulting about rises for 2018.
Anthony Allen believes any hike would cause real hardship, especially those on pensions or state benefits.
