Public Services Commission implementing pay award
Government employees are getting a six percent pay rise.
The Public Services Commission will implement the pay award for all grades of staff for 2023/2024.
It follows negotiations with Prospect and Unite the Union.
The award will apply to the rates of pay for all civil service, manual and craft employees and staff from the Department of Education, Sport and Culture except teaching and lecturing staff.
It will apply to new starters but not those who stopped working with the PSC prior to 27 October 2023.
This pay award also applies to Tynwald members - you can find out more about their pay HERE.
