Beach Buddies founder to hold a town clean-up event this weekend instead
The founder of an environmental group on the Isle of Man says comments made on Manx Radio about the cleanliness of the South Beach in Ramsey were 'exaggerated beyond belief'.
This week, Ramsey's MHKs were on Mannin Line, when a caller suggested Beach Buddies had never been to that beach to do a clean-up.
Bill Dale has since visited the area to check the amount of rubbish there.
He says because the beach looked to be in good condition, he's planning to hold a session in the town over the weekend instead:
