Law firm MD gives evidence to Committee
The managing director of a local law firm says the Island would benefit from having more legal practices.
Geoff Kermeen of Keystone Law was giving evidence to the Constitutional and Legal Affairs and Justice Committee yesterday.
Mr Kermeen recounted experiences of working in London, where he remembered often being "the only guy there from the Isle of Man" at events, compared to "at least 10 or 15 there from Jersey and Guernsey".
He said "the general belief among the corporate and commercial part of the bar over here is that more law firms would be a good thing"
