Evidence given to Committee investigating Harbours Strategy
Government Departments must work together to allow effective dredging around the Island's harbours.
That's the belief of Captain Steven Carter from the Laxey towing company.
Captain Carter was giving evidence this morning (Wed 30th) to the Tynwald committee investigating the Harbours Strategy.
He told the committee that there was a resistance within certain government departments to allow effective dredging, which was essential for developments such as the one at Peel . .
