Facebook group Isle of Man Volunteers ask public to help during adverse weather
An Island resident is urging her fellow citizens to join a good neighbour groups she's formed to help those badly affected by severe weather this winter.
Former social worker Michelle O'Connor has started a Facebook group Isle of Man Volunteers, through which she hopes members of the public will offer their time and skills to help others.
Michelle says the Island famously pulls together in a crisis, such as when storms flattened TT campsites, and should do so again now.
