Befriending charity teams up with Erin Arts Centre
A new initiative to keep the ‘miserable winter blues at bay’ has been launched in the south of the Island.
The Erin Arts Centre has teamed up with Southern Befrienders for 'Afternoon Classics'.
The monthly film event will take place at the Port Erin venue and will be followed by tea, biscuits and the opportunity for a friendly chat.
It started this week (17 February) with Brief Encounter.
Pip Rolfe is from the centre:
Afternoon Classics is sponsored by the Manx Lottery Trust; Southern Befrienders is putting a minibus on for those who require transport.
