The clean up operation is getting under way around the Isle of Man after the second damaging storm in less than a month.
Strong winds combined with a high spring tide at lunchtime bringing the risk of flooding to vulnerable coastal areas.
While some parts have been badly hit, it is thought the damage caused is generally not as bad as it was at the start of January.
Tens of thousands of sandbags were put out in at risk areas, and in Ramsey in particular they were enough to hold back the flood water from some shops and houses.
There were a number of road closures in coastal and inner harbour areas, but many of those have now reopened.
Police say they will adopt a common sense approach regarding opening other roads once water and debris has been cleared.
