Student Climate Network's ninth strike
The Isle of Man Student Climate Network will head back out to Prospect Hill this afternoon to hold its ninth climate strike.
The group, alongside other demonstrators, will gather outside Tynwald at 12:30 to call on government to implement a 2035 carbon neutrality date, halt plans to extract gas from the Island's seabed and 'de-carbonise' the economy.
One of those pausing their studies to join the campaign is the Climate Network's co-founder Archibald Elliott:

Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
