Letters to be sent to those more at risk from coronavirus
Manx residents with medical conditions which make them more at risk from coronavirus are being advised to shield by the government.
A letter will be sent to those who are clinically vulnerable or extremely clinically vulnerable, urging them to stay at home throughout the circuit break lockdown.
Those classed as extremely vulnerable, which includes cancer patients and people with severe respiratory conditions, are advised only to leave home for medical appointments, exercise or if it is essential.
More guidance on shielding can be found on the government's website.
