The delicate operation to move a Douglas landmark will continue today as workers lift the remainder of the Jubilee Clock onto its new plinth.
Yesterday, Department of Infrastructure workers took off the four faces and hands and removed the top section in preparation for today’s work.
The cast-iron base and plinth will be shifted roughly 30 feet this morning as part of the department’s upgrade work on Loch Promenade.
