Amber weather warning in place
There is an amber weather warning in place until 1.30pm today for coastal overtopping.
High winds and a spring tide are expected to cause sea water and debris to crash onto exposed roads and promenades around the time of high tide at 11.15am.
Some inner harbour flooding is also expected as a result.
This is expected in Douglas on the tongue, parts of Lake Road and the car parks riverside of Lake Road, and perhaps on North Quay.
For Ramsey, the areas most at risk are Mezeron Corner and West Quay.
Forecasters are also warning flood defences need to be deployed for Castletown harbour.
