The team were paged at 3.25am
In the early hours of the morning, Douglas Coastguard was alerted a medical evacuation from the Isle of Man.
Due to 'next to zero' visibility and poor weather conditions, the helicopter Rescue 936 was forced to land on Douglas Beach.
The coastguard has thanked emergency service personnel from both the police and ambulance for their assistance.
The transfer was completed and the team were back on station two hours later at 5.25am.
