Rider injured in fall at Glen Wyllin beach
A horse rider needed the help of Peel Coastguard and paramedics after falling on Glen Wyllin beach.
Coastguard crews and an ambulance were called out on Saturday afternoon following reports that the rider had fallen and injured themselves.
After being assessed by paramedics, the casualty was removed from the beach and transferred to the waiting ambulance.
The coastguard returned to the station by 4.30pm, 90 minutes after receiving the call.
