Businesses indicate support for removing Covid restrictions
We have to get to a stage where all Covid-19 restrictions are lifted and the Isle of Man lives with the virus in the best possible way.
That's the view of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce after more than half of businesses, responding its recent Covid impact survey, said they'd had to close or reduce hours because of staff shortages recently.
Two thirds indicated they'd support the removing of all restrictions - including isolation for those infected.
Chief minister Alfred Cannan says the survey has provided ‘useful’ data to the Council of Ministers.
