Event at 10am today to help 'guide people' towards help available
Central Laa Meanagh Day Centre for Older People is to host a second 'Coffee for Carers' event today (4 December).
Starting at 10am, the event is 'an opportunity for carers all over the Island to meet up and enjoy a coffee together, with the people they care for also welcome to come along'.
Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service (MCALS), Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS), The Wellbeing Partnership and other teams will be in attendance.
Manx Care's Day Centres Service Manager Sonia Blake appeared live on Manx Radio's Update programme last night.
She says it's an opportunity for carers to find out about what support there is on the Island:
