30-year-old also told to work with probation
A Colby man has been ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work after assaulting a police officer.
Anthony James Scaddan, of Station Park, was sentenced at Douglas Courthouse.
The 30-year-old had previously admitted assaulting a police officer at Rheast Barrule in Castletown on 23 October.
He’d also pleaded guilty to making use of provoking behaviour in Castletown Square on the same day.
Two other charges of assault had previously been withdrawn.
Scaddan was also ordered to work with the probation service for 12 months and pay £300 in prosecution costs.
