Three vehicle RTC in west of Island
A series of accidents around the Island have led to a number of road closures this evening (Sunday).
The Mountain Road was closed until just after 9pm after collisions at Keppel Gate and the Gooseneck, while an incident at Handley’s Corner led to the road being shut between Barregarrow Junction and the Cronk-y-Voddy crossroads.
There was a three vehicle collision which caused a further closure between Cronk-y-Voddy and Douglas Road Corner in Kirk Michael, while a burst water main led to the A5 being temporarily shut between the Kentraugh Mill Road and the Ballakeighan corner.
