Further criticism for transfer taxi provider
A local woman has caused a stir on social media, after filming a patient transfer journey in Liverpool she's branded 'unacceptable'.
Hayley Daugherty was traveling with her mother, who suffers from a joint condition, between the city's airport and a nearby hospital appointment last week.
ComCab, the company now contracted by the Manx government to carry out the transfers, has attracted some criticism since it took over from specialist providers Bridgewater following a tender process.
Ms Daugherty says the standard of care was 'awful', and Bridgewater staff and vehicles were much better attuned to patients' varying needs.
She's contacted the Department of Health and Social Care, which has said it's keen to hear feedback on the service.
