Energy company promises tariff reductions
Government says 'the outline of a possible voluntary agreement' was finalised with Manx Gas on Thursday.
But it's clarified the deal "still needs to be considered by the Council of Ministers before it proceeds further."
The latest developments in negotiations are set to be debated in Tynwald on Tuesday.
Some says the timing of the announcement leaves no room for proper scrutiny by MHKs.
