Financial services sector removed from key worker list
Changes have been made to the entitlement criteria for school places during the circuit break lockdown.
The Council of Ministers met this morning to review who could attend primary and secondary facilities.
From Monday the children of key and essential workers will only be able to attend whilst their parents are physically at work and provided there is no one else at home to look after the child.
The financial services sector has also been removed from the essential worker list.
Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson has apologised for the change but says government must protect education and frontline services.
