Historian and broadcaster has been reflecting on the Island 60 years ago
An historian and broadcaster says comments that the current government administration is the worst ever were also being made 60 years ago.
Charles Guard has been examining a BBC report from 1965 in his latest video, which resulted in complaints to the corporation's director general.
The coverage painted an unfavourable view of the Island, with one speaker claiming the government at that time was the worst to ever run the Island.
Mr Guard says he hears similar views today, but this shows not everything was better in the past:
