A commissioner and former general election candidate has pleaded not guilty to a charge of harassment.

Oliver John Lockwood, of Main Road in Onchan, has also denied a charge of committing a public order offence.

Mr Lockwood appeared before deputy high bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse today.

The 45-year-old was represented in court by advocate James Peterson.

Bailed was extended until a pre-trial review for both charges, due to be held on 1 December.
