DoI does listen, says Jessopp
The chairman of Braddan Commissioners says central government and local authorities do work together on social housing policy - even if they don't always agree.
Andrew Jessopp was speaking in response to Onchan MHK and former commissioner Rob Callister, who claims input from housing authorities is 'usually ignored' when the Department of Infrastructure sets rental rates.
A proposed adjustment is set to take place next April.
Mr Jessopp says, as always, correspondence will take place between the department and local government:

'Too early to tell' what caused fire
Firefighting foam may have killed fish in Silverburn River
Additional road closure for TT filming ahead of MGP qualifying
'Knives and sharp implements' left outside charity shops
