Park is being developed by Braddan for its leisure centre
Braddan Commissioners have applied for planning permission to install a play area at its leisure facility in Strang.
The park will cost £200,000 and the authority says it has received two grants for the space, £50,000 from the Manx Lottery Trust and £25,000 from the Department of Enterprise.
As part of its plans the commissioners will be installing ‘inclusive’ equipment for children of all abilities.
The park will include a nine metre tower with a slide which the authority says is its ‘statement piece’.
