28-year-old's case adjourned until March
Lawyers for an Island businessman accused of being involved in a £13 million airline fraud have challenged his committal to a higher court.
Jason Gerard Scales, of Douglas Road in Ballasalla, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today (19 January).
He denies two offences of making or supplying articles for use in frauds in May 2021 and an allegation of committing fraud by false representation between May and June of that year.
A challenge hearing will be held on 20 March; the 28-year-old has been bailed until that date.
