28-year-old denies three offences
Committal proceedings in the case against an Island businessman accused of being involved in a £13 million airline fraud have been delayed.
Jason Gerard Scales, of Douglas Road in Ballasalla, was due to be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery at Douglas Courthouse yesterday (12 January).
The 28-year-old denies committing fraud by false representation, between May and June 2021, and two offences of making or supplying articles for use in frauds.
Magistrates granted a joint application to adjourn committal until 19 January; he’s been bailed until that date.
