Dr Alex Allinson speaks following public service media discussions
The chair of a select committee looking into public service media, says a debate on the matter in Tynwald was important.
Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson has been speaking following lengthy discussions in the chamber yesterday.
A decision on how to proceed with public service media in the Isle of Man has now been delayed until January.
It's after Tynwald's voting on a report on the matter stalled last night (Dec 11), as the House of Keys and Legislative Council were in disagreement over an amendment put forward by Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker.
He's asked for a combined vote, which will take place at the January sitting of the court.
Tim Glover asked Dr Allinson if his introduction to the debate though, was defeatist.
