Select Committee on the Role of the Legislature in the Budget Process to hear Treasury evidence
An MHK who has long campaigned for budget reform hopes to see change in the next parliamentary year, before the next election.
Juan Watterson is a member of the Select Committee on the Role of the Legislature in the Budget Process.
It will be taking evidence from representatives from the Treasury Department in October this year.
But Mr Watterson says he's not convinced it'll get the job done:
