The Tynwald joint committee looking into parliamentary reform was a waste of time.
That's the view of the MLC whose proposals were being considered by it, David Callister.
He wants the Island to be split into eight constituencies, each with three MHKs and one MLC, all of whom would be democratically elected.
But the committee has been unable to reach any sort of consensus on his plans.
Speaking live on Mandate on Manx Radio this morning, Mr Callister told Tim Glover he still had hope for them, though:

Online gambling sector subject to more 'rigorous scrutiny' than ever before
Plan for future of Hospice to be brought forward 'during this administration'
Plans to create a 'people's mandate' for prospective election candidates
Open Farm event inspires next generation of Manx farmers
Amendments to Assisted Dying Bill approved by Tynwald
