Written evidence sought following Laxey floods
The recent flooding in Laxey and potential future damage at flood-prone areas are to be looked at by a Tynwald committee.
The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee is looking for written submissions on this topic, following the floods seen on Glen Road earlier this month.
The panel will focus on preventative measures, maintenance of rivers, insurance and support offered to those left with damage as a result of flooding.
Those wishing to put forward evidence can email committees@tynwald.org.im or send a hard copy to Legislative Buildings.
Submissions will be accepted until 18 November.
