Labour MP wants 'shroud of secrecy' removed
The House of Commons will hold an 'emergency debate' on the findings of the 'Paradise Papers' (14 Nov), after pressure by the MP who labelled the Island a 'tax haven'.
Labour's Dame Margaret Hodge has called on ministers there to 'tear down the shroud of secrecy' covering offshore jursidictions.
A debate will now take place as the House of Commons sit today (14 Nov) and is expected to last up to two hours.
Dame Hodge appeared on Panorama's expose last week, which threw the Island's tax practices under the spotlight.
The Manx Government has denied any wrongdoing, but says it will invesitgate any claims.
