A prestigious event, attracting parliamentary speakers and officers from across the Commonwealth, is to be held on the Island.
The biennial Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth - or CSPOC - will be held here in four years' time.
The event brings speakers together, and gives them chance to discuss matters of mutual parliamentary interest.
Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan has just returned from this year's event in New Zealand.
He says hosting it is an opportunity to place the Isle of Man in the minds of influential politicians:
