Daphne Caine thanks parents and diabetic charity for 'ongoing support'
The education minister says a 'communication blip' was to blame for the lack of nutritional values being provided with new primary school dinner menus.
Concerns were raised earlier this week by the parents of diabetic children, who need the information to administer the right amount of insulin.
Daphne Caine has been giving evidence to the Island's Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, alongside her department's chief officer.
She says the initial lack of a breakdown was 'unfortunate' and has apologised to parents:
