Western Neighbourhood Policing Team hosting meet tonight
Residents in the west of the Island have the opportunity to quiz police officers this evening about issues of concern in their local area.
The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team is holding a community meeting at QEII High School at 6.30pm.
It’s one in a series of events designed to improve communication between the constabulary and members of the public and follows similar meetings run last year.
People are being encouraged to attend and share the issues which are important to them.
Problems identified will form part of the neighbourhood policing plans in future.
Inspector Paul Kemp told Manx Radio he expects that anti-social behaviour will be among the topics raised:
There will also be meetings held in the south and north of the Island – these will take place as follows:
- Southern Neighbourhood Meeting - 15 November - at Castle Rushen High School
- Northern Neighbourhood Meeting - 17 November - at Ramsey Court House
